Bayern Munich star Jamal Musiala needed to be supported by teammate Ismael Saibari after appearing to lose consciousness during the team’s pre-season friendly.
The German champions faced RB Leipzig as part of their preparations for the upcoming campaign.

The game was played in 33-degree heat, which appeared to take its toll on Musiala during the final stages after he came on as a second-half substitute.
The incident happened just moments after he had seemingly put the game beyond Leipzig’s reach.
Only a few minutes after scoring, the forward began to look disoriented. Saibari quickly noticed what was happening and moved over to assist his new teammate.

Saibari and Joshua Kimmich managed to prevent Musiala from hitting the ground, carefully helping him down onto the pitch. Medical staff immediately rushed over to treat him while several Bayern players gathered around.
Thankfully, a medic gave the bench a thumbs up to indicate that Musiala was okay. The German international was then helped back to his feet and walked off the pitch alongside members of Bayern’s medical team before being replaced by Bara Sapoko Ndiaye.
It was an eventful Bayern Munich debut for Saibari, who made his first appearance for the club following his move from PSV Eindhoven earlier this summer.
The midfielder linked up with Bayern after representing Morocco at this summer’s World Cup in North America.
Bayern secured a 3-1 victory, with Luis Diaz, Nathaniel Brown and Musiala finding the net. Saibari provided the assist for Musiala’s goal.
Speaking in the mixed zone after the victory, Bayern sporting director Max Eberl offered an update on Musiala, confirming: “The most important thing, he’s doing well!”
Bayern were also forced to deal with two other injury concerns during the match, with full-back Konrad Laimer coming off after only 10 minutes. Centre-back Min-jae Kim was later withdrawn during the second-half hydration break.
Providing an update on Laimer, Eberl said: “Konny took a hit relatively early on, and his foot swelled up pretty quickly as well.
“That’s why he was taken off as a precaution. It was already the case that he couldn’t run anymore; he had to be supported. That was visible. He wasn’t running smoothly at all. How long it will take, I really can’t say today.”
Bayern Munich will return to action next Saturday when they face Borussia Dortmund in the German Super Cup final. Their Bundesliga campaign then gets underway on Friday, 28 August, against VfB Stuttgart.
