Cole Palmer has come under heavy fire after footage surfaced online showing his behaviour following Chelsea’s victory over Bournemouth.
The England international was absent from national team duty during the international break but returned to action for the Premier League encounter at Stamford Bridge.

Palmer assisted Jordan Henderson’s goal in the second minute as Chelsea went on to secure an impressive 5-1 win.
On Saturday night, a video circulated on social media showing the 24-year-old leaving Stamford Bridge after the match. However, his actions quickly drew criticism from several fans.
The Chelsea star was accompanied by his girlfriend as supporters gathered around him, hoping to take photographs or get his autograph. Palmer, however, kept his head down and continued walking without stopping.

The footage triggered widespread backlash online, particularly because he appeared to ignore several young fans who were desperately trying to get his attention.
“Disgusting way to treat young fans,” one social media user responded. Another was less diplomatic, simply saying: “What a pr***.”
Many supporters believe Palmer could have spared a few moments to acknowledge the younger fans who had come out to see him.
One fan commented: “Getting paid £220,000 a week and you can’t stop for a few minutes to make a kid’s day?”
Another X user described the footage as ‘disgraceful’, highlighting a young supporter wearing a shirt bearing Palmer’s name. They wrote: “Not a good look. The kid had Cole Palmer’s name on his back, so obviously he’s his idol, yet he treats the kid like s***! Disgraceful.”
The user continued: “Cole Palmer needs to learn from Declan Rice and Harry Kane, who are perfect examples of how superstar footballers should interact with the fans who pay the money that makes these players multi-millionaires by the time they reach their 20th birthday.”
Former Crystal Palace owner Simon Jordan also voiced his disappointment while discussing the incident on talkSPORT.
“If you don’t want to be bothered [by fans], don’t walk in the street,” the broadcaster declared.
Jordan added: “He’s a young player, Cole, and when he matures and gets older and maybe has a family of his own, he might understand what it’s like to be a young supporter. He probably was one himself in the beginning.
“I didn’t like what I watched; I didn’t think that’s right. I think that young players need to remember that young supporters are highly influenced by their heroes. They regard them as heroes.”
Jordan concluded his assessment by warning that Palmer could face further criticism over the incident.
“I suspect he’ll catch some flak from it. Because it’s not a good look, it’s not right.”
