Chelsea star Enzo Fernandez has appeared to taunt England after their World Cup semi-final loss to Argentina.
The midfielder found the net as Argentina came from behind to beat England 2-1, booking their place in Sunday’s World Cup final against Spain.

The fiercely contested encounter in Atlanta ended with tempers flaring. After the final whistle, Jude Bellingham was seen slapping Argentina substitute Valentin Barco on the back of the head.
Argentina’s celebrations also drew attention when players posed with a banner reading, ‘Las Malvinas son Argentinas’, meaning, ‘The Falklands are Argentine’, an act that could reportedly lead to FIFA disciplinary action.
Fernandez then appeared to mock England on social media by reposting a picture of himself laughing alongside Lionel Messi while Oasis’ ‘Wonderwall’ played in the background.

The track has become England’s unofficial World Cup anthem and is regularly sung by players and fans together after matches.
Following criticism from supporters, Fernandez deleted the repost and later uploaded the same photo again, this time without Wonderwall playing.
Chelsea also faced criticism from England fans after posting a picture of Fernandez celebrating Argentina’s victory, accompanied only by the caption, ‘Enzo Fernandez’, along with an explosion emoji.
Fernandez continues to be linked with a move away from Chelsea after the club endured a disappointing campaign, finishing 10th in the Premier League last season.
‘Today the player is calmly thinking about the national team, he is playing in a World Cup, he is very close to reaching the round of 16,’ Fernandez’s agent, Javier Pastore, said earlier this month.
‘He is only thinking about that and we are looking at possibilities to leave Chelsea but there is nothing firm or confirmed at any club.’
Despite the speculation, Chelsea’s new head coach Xabi Alonso made it clear this week that he hopes Fernandez remains at Stamford Bridge.
‘We have spoken,’ Alonso said. ‘But, as you can understand, what we said will remain private.’
Meanwhile, earlier this month, Real Madrid released a statement dismissing reports that they are interested in signing Fernandez from Chelsea during the current transfer window.
