Manchester United produced a stunning comeback to beat Ipswich Town 5-2, with Bruno Fernandes playing a starring role, but the victory did little to stop fans from expressing their frustration with one particular player.
The Red Devils entered the clash against another newly promoted team looking to make amends for last weekend’s disappointing 2-0 defeat to Hull City, with Michael Carrick demanding a much-improved display.

Carrick made four alterations to the team that suffered defeat at the MKM Stadium, handing Marcus Rashford his first start in 626 days while also bringing in Diogo Dalot, Lisandro Martinez and Kobbie Mainoo.
Despite United’s changes, it was Ipswich who broke the deadlock after Leif Davis put the visitors ahead on the half-hour mark following a lively opening from the Tractor Boys.
However, the hosts responded before the interval, with Fernandes finding the equaliser just before half-time.
The United captain then added two more goals after the restart to complete his hat-trick — his second in the Premier League — while Jacob Greaves turned the ball into his own net and Bryan Mbeumo also got on the scoresheet. Chuba Akpom eventually added a second for Ipswich during stoppage time. ..
